Executive Director Ryan Blythe is the creative vision behind Georgia Trade School, Ryan serves as the public face of the Georgia Trade School brand. Prior to GTS, Ryan worked at The Center of Industry and Technology for five years as the Director of Student Affairs. In that role Ryan achieved a high placement rate of CIT graduates with employers and developed relationships with workforce agencies and private industry. In addition to his experience in welding education, Ryan worked for eight years in the staffing industry, first with the Dutch giant Randstad and later with General Personnel Corporation. With these companies Ryan managed temporary personnel for such diverse clients as Rollins, Sports Authority, CIBA Vision and American Honda. Mr. Blythe also managed large event staffing for GPC at the Georgia Dome, Turner Field and the Georgia World Congress Center. Ryan lives in West Midtown, is a member of the Kennesaw Business Association, the Acworth Business Association, the Cobb Chamber of Commerce and Northside United Methodist Church.
Sean Quinton is the Vice President and Operations Manager for Georgia
Trade School. Sean is also a Certified Welding Inspector and is
available to test welds for individual and commercial clients. Sean
designed the curriculum and is responsible for the welding laboratory at
Georgia Trade School. Prior to GTS, Sean was the Vice President
at The Center of Industry and Technology where he managed operations and
modernized CIT’s welding curriculum and technology. Sean is a
graduate of Georgia State University, a five year judge at the Skills
USA competition and a member of the American Welding Society. A
motorcycle enthusiast, Sean lives in Atlanta.
